The Nor’easter Mountain Coaster

Relax and enjoy a scenic ride up the mountain side, preparing for an exciting descent through the forest. The long anticipated attraction offering a family adventure in the Finger Lakes is finally here…

This exciting, state of the art mountain coaster is located just west of Olympian and features over 4300 feet of excitement. It was manufactured by Wiegand and is one of the newest attractions located at Greek Peak Resort.

The Nor’easter Mountain Coaster is a gravitational hybrid of an alpine slide and a roller coaster that operates year round, and it features a unique design utilizing the natural setting (peaks, pitches, and turns) so be prepared for dips, banked turns, and even vertical dips!

While the Nor’easter Mountain Coaster offers an exhilarating ride with two person cars that travel along a piped track at speeds of up to 28 miles per hour… riders control the speed of their cars and it is also a scenic ride for *all ages.

The mountain coaster starts at the first floor of our Adventure Fun Center Building and returns to the second floor. You may purchase an individual ride to enjoy the mountain coaster attraction at The Adventure Center, and there will be an opportunity to purchase a keepsake photo memorializing your experience. Photos are available when you want to enjoy the ride over and over again.

Safety Requirements

• *Must be at least 3 years old, to ride the mountain coaster with an accompanying adult.
• Must be at least 8 years old to ride alone.
• To ride double, at least one rider must be 8 years or older with the taller rider in back.
• There is a maximum combined weight of 350 pounds per car (330 pounds in wet weather.)
